This article deeply explores the challenges faced by AI-generated imagery technology and e-commerce platforms' "no-return refund" policy in the current e-commerce environment. On one hand, fraudsters use AI technology to forge images and videos for fraudulent refund applications, such as the AI forgery scam encountered by hairy crab merchants in the article, making merchants vulnerable and increasing their costs for dispute resolution. On the other hand, some merchants also use AI digital humans or AI-retouched images to exaggerate product efficacy, misleading consumers, and even setting up "AI traps" in after-sales service to counter consumers. This mutual exploitation is severely eroding the trust relationship between buyers and sellers. The article emphasizes that platforms, as the core responsible parties, should promptly upgrade AIGC identification technology, improve risk control systems, and collaborate with all parties to build a fair, transparent, and sustainable e-commerce ecosystem.
