My Brief
A daily brief shaped by your interests, delivered in web, email, and podcast formats.
What it is
My Brief is the first screen you see each day on BestBlogs — an automatically curated shortlist of the most worth-reading items from the past three days, each with a one-line recommendation and tags.
How it's generated
The brief is built in two layers:
- Public brief (all users): generated once at 06:30 each morning. Weighted scoring and deduplication run across the full curated pool and produce a single brief shared by all users.
- Personalized brief (Pro): an additional "your interests × your sources" re-ranking on top of the public brief, generated at 07:00.
Scoring factors include source priority, content type, keyword match, and historical interaction deduplication.
How to consume it
| Format | Free | Pro |
|---|---|---|
Web (/reading/brief) |
✅ Public edition | ✅ Personalized edition |
| Audio podcast (TTS) | — | ✅ Daily audio |
| Email (HTML) | — | ✅ Daily / weekly subscriptions |

| Ops-managed WeChat group text | Occasional public pushes | — |
Common patterns
- On the commute: the Pro audio edition gives you an 8–15 minute walkthrough of the day's highlights.
- In your inbox: subscribe to email so you get the brief without opening the app.
- Deep read: open any item from the brief, then call in the AI Reading Copilot for a summary or follow-up questions.
The feedback loop
Every item supports like / dislike / bookmark / hide. These signals:
- Adjust your interest weights (affecting tomorrow's brief and the For You feed);
- Nudge source preference (frequently disliked sources are ranked down);
- Count toward your daily streak when any valid feedback is submitted.
