My Brief
Pro only. A personalized re-rank of the Public Brief each morning, with an audio edition and a Daily Question.
What it is
My Brief is the personalized brief BestBlogs prepares for you each morning — a re-rank of the Public Brief shaped by your interest profile and Following.
Pro only.
Publishing cadence
- Monday through Saturday: generated each morning, right after the Public Brief.
- No Sunday edition: there's no brief on Sundays. Read Friday's Curated Newsletter or open Following for the live stream.
Beta-period publish times can drift slightly; the email / audio edition's actual arrival time in your inbox is the source of truth.
How it's generated
Two stacked layers:
- Public brief layer: each morning, scoring and dedup run across the global pool to surface 6–10 site-wide picks.
- Personalization layer: on top of the public brief, items are re-ranked using your six-dimensional interest profile, your Featured sources, and your last 7 days of reading behavior. Source Contribution items (picks that came from sources you follow) are surfaced first.
The result is typically 8–12 items — the extra few are uniquely yours, drawn from your interests or follows.
