Public Brief
A site-wide curated brief published every morning Monday through Saturday.
What it is
Public Brief is the daily site-wide brief BestBlogs publishes for everyone. After AI Screening and Expert Review, weighted scoring and dedup run across the recent curated pool to surface the few worth-reading items — each with a one-line take and tags.
No sign-in or Pro needed.
Publishing cadence
- Monday through Saturday: published every morning (times can drift slightly during beta).
- No Sunday edition: there's no Public Brief on Sundays. Use Friday's Curated Newsletter for a weekly recap, or wander through Explore.
What's in each edition
A typical edition contains 6–10 picks, each with:
- A one-line "why we picked this"
- A content-type badge (Article / Podcast / Video / Tweet / Newsletter)
- Top category and keywords
- Source + author
- Score (out of 100)
Items that land in the Featured subset get a star.

Public Brief vs Curated Newsletter
- Public Brief: daily, covering a 24–72 hour window, fast cadence.
- Curated Newsletter: weekly, covering the full week, themed and editorially deeper.
The two complement each other — the brief tracks what's new, the newsletter consolidates and reflects.
