What it is
Sources is the directory of public sources maintained by BestBlogs — every source is editorially picked for sustained high-quality output.
Each source detail page shows:
- A bilingual intro
- Number of collected items and average score
- Content types (Article / Podcast / Video / Tweet / Newsletter)
- Recent updates
- A one-click Follow button to add it to your Following stream
Common ways to find sources
- By type: filter to Podcast to find your next listen
- By region: Chinese / English
- By category: pick AI, engineering, product, etc., to find authoritative sources in that field
- Through reading: spot a great piece in Explore → click the author → land on the source detail
Public source vs private source
| Type | Who can see it | Who can add it | Enters the global curated pool? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Public source | Everyone | Editorial team (users can suggest) | Yes |
| Private source | Only the user who added it | Pro users (capped) | No |
Found a great source we don't carry yet? Use the "Suggest a source" button at the bottom of the page — the editorial team will review and add it. For private sources, see Add Sources.
Source scoring
Every source has an aggregated score, weighted from the AI Screening scores of its collected items. 80+ typically means the source consistently delivers curated-tier content.
Scores are guidance only — editors also weigh domain rarity, first-publication value, and community impact.
